1. General Questions

Q. What is PrizeKings?

PrizeKings is a competition platform offering skills-based competitions, starting with Spot the Ball, where participants use judgement and precision for the chance to win premium prizes, including World Cup travel, lifestyle rewards, and more.

Q. Do I need a licence to play?

No. How you participate in our skill-based competitions does not require a separate licence. You must be 18+ and resident in South Africa.

Q. Is this gambling?

No. PrizeKings competitions are skills-based and not games of chance. Winners are determined by objective scoring criteria.

2. Account & Registration

Q. How do I create an account?

Click Create Account on the homepage, enter your details, and verify your email. Once registered, you’ll be ready to participate.

Q. Can I create more than one account?

No. One person = one account. Multiple accounts may result in disqualification and voided entries.

Q. I forgot my password, what do I do?

Use the Forgot Password link on the login page. You’ll receive instructions by email.

Q. Can I change my password?

Yes. Go to your Account Settings and select Change Password.

 

3. Deposits & Wallet

Q. Can I deposit funds without entering a competition?

Yes. You can deposit directly into your PrizeKings Wallet at any time via the Deposit button.

Q. What is my Wallet used for?

Your Wallet stores funds and site credit that can be used to enter competitions.

Q. What payment methods do you support?

We support secure local payment options including Ozow, Mesh and card payments (availability may vary).

Q. How long do deposits take?

Most deposits are instant. If your payment is pending, your Wallet will update once the provider confirms the transaction.

Q. What if my deposit fails?

No funds will be deducted if the payment fails. If funds were deducted but not credited, contact support with proof of payment.

Q. Can I withdraw my Wallet balance?

All deposits are non-refundable. Contact support for details.

 

4. Entries & Competitions

Q. How do Spot the Ball competitions work?

Study the image and use your judgement to place the marker where you think the centre of the ball should be. The closest entry to the independently adjudicated position wins.

Q. What do I win?

Prizes vary per competition. For current competitions, prizes include travel, hospitality, match tickets, and premium experiences. Prize details are shown on each competition page.

Q. How do I enter a competition?

Select the competition, choose the number of tickets you want, and complete checkout. You can also earn free entries via promotions.

Q. Can I enter more than once?

Yes, unless specified otherwise. Some competitions may limit the number of paid entries per person.

Q. Can I enter multiple competitions?

Yes. You can enter any competition as long as you meet the eligibility and entry requirements.

Q. What happens if a competition sells out early?

The competition will close early and proceed to judging.

Q. What happens if a competition does not sell enough tickets?

PrizeKings reserves the right to extend, modify or cancel competitions as outlined in our Terms.

 

5. Competition Mechanics

Q. How is the winner determined?

A panel of independent judges determines the correct ball position. Your entry that is closest to this position wins.

Q. What happens if two people are equally close?

We use a tie-break process which may include comparing additional entries, judges’ review, and if necessary, a sudden-death skill challenge.

Q. How long does a competition run?

Each competition displays its start and end date on the competition page. Once closed, no additional entries are accepted.

Q. What happens in a tie?

We follow a structured tie-break process which may include reviewing additional entries or a new skill challenge.

Q. When will the winner be announced?

Winners are announced shortly after the competition closes and judging is complete.

Q. How will I know if I’ve won?

You’ll be contacted via email and notified in your account.

 

6. Pricing & Payments

Q. How much does it cost to enter?

Ticket prices are shown on the competition page. You can purchase multiple tickets at once.

Q. Are there group discounts?

Yes — for example: Buy 4 tickets, get 1 free. Discounts are automatically applied at checkout.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

We support local payment options such as Ozow and Mesh (once fully configured), along with standard card payments.

Q. How will payments appear on my statement?

Payments will show a PrizeKings reference. If you have questions, contact support.

 

7. Wallet, Site Credit & Checkout

Q. What is my Wallet?

Your Wallet holds funds and credits you can use to enter competitions.

Q. What is Site Credit?

Site Credit includes promotional credits or refund balances that can be applied when entering competitions.

Q. Can I use Wallet and Site Credit at the same time?

Yes. The checkout will automatically use available Wallet and Site Credit to reduce the cost.

Q. Why does my Site Credit show a negative balance?

The negative value represents the amount applied towards entries, only the amount used will be deducted.

 

8. Winners & Notifications

Q. How will I know if I’ve won?

Winners are notified by email and within the platform. Winning details will appear on the competition page as well.

Q. What do I need to do if I win?

You must verify your identity and eligibility. Details will be provided in your winner notification.

Q. What if I don’t respond?

If you fail to respond within the specified timeframe, your prize may be forfeited.

 

9. Prizes & Delivery

Q. What if a prize cannot be delivered?

If circumstances beyond our control prevent prize delivery, PrizeKings may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

Q. Can I choose a cash alternative?

Where offered, a cash alternative is available at a specified percentage of prize value.

Q. How long until I receive my prize?

Delivery timelines vary by prize type. You’ll be informed after verification.

Q. Are travel/hospitality costs included?

Yes, if stated in the prize details.

 

10. Promotions, Referrals & Loyalty

Q. How do promotions work?

Promotions are activated on the site once configured. Eligible promotions show details and instructions on how to apply them at checkout.

Q. How do referrals work?

Invite friends using your referral link. When they register and qualify, you’ll receive rewards as specified in the referral terms.

Q. What is loyalty / reward currency?

Where available, loyalty points or credits help boost entries, provide discounts, or unlock bonus plays.

 

11. Technical & Troubleshooting

Q. What if I experience a technical issue?

Reload your browser, clear cache, or try another device. If the issue persists, contact support with screenshots.

Q. Why isn’t my entry showing?

Only entries recorded in our system are valid. Check your account dashboard or contact support.

Q. How do I see my competition entries?

Your account dashboard displays active and past entries.

 

12. Responsible Participation

Q. Is there a helpline?

Yes, refer to our Responsible Play page for guidance and resources if you need assistance.

Q. How do I take a break?

You can self-exclude or set internal participation limits via your account settings if available or contact customer services.

 

13. Legal & Privacy

Q. What happens to my personal information?

Your data is protected under our Privacy Policy and POPIA.

Q. Can my name be published if I win?

With your consent, we may use your first name and general location for promotional purposes. You may refuse publicity without losing your prize.
